1940's Vitality Shoes Countertop Signs
We found a small cache of easel-back signs from a Portland,
Maine shoe store in a home located not far from the downtown shopping
area. The 1940's cardboard signs advertised the features of Vitality
Shoes. They are quite austere in design as befits the mood of
a nation at war. The yellow signs with red lettering measure
5.25" wide x 9.25" tall. The green signs with dark
blue lettering are 6" wide x 9.75" tall. Some of them
are lightly soiled but they remain interesting examples of 60
year old point-of-purchase advertising.
Price is $15.00 each or 2 for $25.00
