1930s Barney Google on Sparkplug Paperweight
Billy DeBeck introduced Barney Google to the funny pages in
1919. After 1934 he was gradually supplanted by another character,
Snuffy Smith. Barney and his racehorse, Sparkplug brought laughs
to all of his readers. This small lead paperweight is a scarce
premium. Approx 2.5" x 3". Some scratches on the original
