19th Century Carte d'Visite - Artists
In the later years of the 19th century collecting CDV's of
famous people was all the rage. Unfortunately many famous figures
died before the use of photography. The need to collect was met
by makings carte d'visite from paintings of the famous figures.
All of these CDV's are in excellent shape with intact borders
and the subject clearly identified.
