
The North American's Tobacco Fund 1917 Advertisement
There's No Cigar Store Around the Corner "Over There"
- The North American's Tobacco Fund. This ad, which ran as
a supplement to The North American, Philadelphia, Sunday September
30, 1917, solicits contributions from readers. For a donation
of 45 cents The American Tobacco Company will send a kit containing
Tuxedo tobacco and Bull Durham tobacco and cigarette papers, two
packages of Lucky Strike cigarettes and a return post card addressed
to the contributor on which the soldier can express his appreciation
and gratitude.
The reverse side has a chart illustrating the Insignia of
the United States Navy and the Marine Corps.
The page measures approximately 16" x 9" It is in
