Weller "Majolica Style" Jardinaire and Base
Weller Colored Glaze Jardinaire and Base This generously
proportioned jardinaire mimics the typical green and brown of
majolica pottery. Weller produced jardinaires in numerous patterns
(most unnamed) in this color combination. On this piece arrow
shaped bands of green help create the impression of sleekness
and movement by drawing the eye upward. It measures 28" in
height. The base is 18" high with a 10" diameter measured
across the top. The jardinaire is 10" high and has an 11"
diameter. "WELLER" is die stamped on the jardinaire
and the base. There is some crazing on the top of the base and
a chip on the underside of the base.. There are also stress cracks
