A&P - Two-sided Cardboard Advertising Fan - Abraham Lincoln
Wonderful palette-shaped advertising fan features a beautifully
rendered image of Abraham Lincoln on the front and a list of Branch
Houses in the U. S. on the back. The reverse reads: The Great
Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company. The largest importers &
retailers of Teas & Coffees in the World. A list of branches
indicates that the A&P empire extended from Massachusetts
and Rhode Island through New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania,
Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, Michigan, Virginia, Washington,
D.C. and Maryland. The company was headquartered on Vesey Street
in New York City. There is a finger hold. The fan measures 7"
