Beech-Nut Spearmint Gum Country Store Folding Chair
In a more leisurely time people lingered around the general
store chatting with neighbors and friends. Often there were wooden
chairs provided for just such a purpose. The chairs, which were
supplied by companies whose products were carried by the store,
sported metal signs advertising those products. This Beech-Nut
Spearmint Gum wooden folding chair came from a store in Western
Maine. The chair itself is in very nice condition with some signs
of normal wear. The metal sign on the backrest is slightly discolored
and the paper is somewhat worn. (Click for detail)
