Portfolio of Drawings of India by Ghika
This handsome portfolio contains twelve drawings by Ghika
of cities of India. They were published by The Icaros Publishing
Company in Athens, Greece in 1959, the year after they were drawn.
The English Edition was printed at four hundred copies numbered
1 to 400. This copy is number 78. All of the prints are in landscape
mode and include scenes of Calcutta, Bombay, Jaipur, Benares and
Katmandu, Nepal. They measure 17" w x 13" h. The Portfolio
measures 13.25" x 17.25" The covers of the portfolio
are detached. There is slight water damage on the lower right
corner of the cover. The prints are in fine condition. (Stock
