Columbian Exposition 1893 - Silver-Headed Cane

Silver-headed wooden cane boasts a relief bust of
Columbus and the inscription "Columbus 1492-1892 Chicago
1893." The cane is 35" tall, the silver head 3"
tall. There are a few dents and dings in the silver and the wood
is slightly warped. Still an unusual and highly desirable piece.

A wonderfully cast silver head of Christopher Columbus
tops this wooden cane. boasts a relief bust of Columbus
and the inscription "Columbus 1492-1892 Chicago 1893."
The cane is 33" tall, the silver head 3.5" tall. It
is marked "1893 Columbus Chicago." It is also inscribed
"Souvenir P. T. Dec. 20 -92." Some of the finish has
been rubbed off and the cane has some nicks. It is the most interesting
and detailed Columbian Exposition cane that we have encountered.
