1939 New York World's Fair Plate Probably the finest
art deco souvenir plate designed for this fair. This deco style
plate features the Trylon and Perisphere in its central design
as well as part of the border motif. Shades of purple or mauve
figure prominently. 10 " diameter. No cracks. Tiny flake
on back rim. On the reverse marked in gold "Decoration by
Charles Murphy. 150th Anniversary Inauguration of George Washington
as First President of the United States 1789-1939." "Homer
