The Centennial Exposition, described and illustrated, being a concise and graphic description of this grand enterprise, commemorative of the First Centennary of American Independence, the whole profusely illustrated. J. S. Ingram. Philadelphia: Hubbard Bros., 770 pages including a fold-out map of the fair grounds. The cover reads "Proclaim Liberty Throughout All the Land Unto All the Inhabitants Thereof - 1776-1876 - Its Blessings We Celebrate." Very nice engravings. Cover looks as though another book stuck to it, ink stains, rubbing, spine partially split. (DUP) (Stock number 003wf76-0715c) $100.00

Includes machine-tools for metal, wood, and stone; machines, etc. used in sewing and making clothing; agricultural machines, implements of agriculture, horticulture and gardening; instruments and apparatus of hygiene, medicine, surgery, prosthesis, etc.; instruments of precision, research, experiment, and illustration, including telegraphy and music; architecture and engineering; plastic and graphic art including painting and sculpture, industrial and architectural designs, interior decorations, and stained glass. Fabulous resource for anyone interested in social, scientific, artistic, and business history of the United States. Loaded with the names of companies and organizations some well known, most totally obscure. Front and back cover stains otherwise very nice condition for its age. (Stock number 003wf76-0715b) $75.00

Memorial of the International Exhibition 1876. 48 Views. Thos. Hunter Publisher, 716 Filbert St. Phila. A 3 1/4" x 5" volume of engraved view. Condition is rougher than we'd prefer - Some fabric loss on front cover, cover loose but attached. In spite of this, this little volume manages to be an attractive example of a scarce centennial exposition souvenir. (Stock number 003wf1218b) $50.00
