1893 Columbian Exposition Souvenirs
Figural metal pin cushion shoe. The sole of the shoe is engraved
"Souvenir World's Exposition Chicago 1893." Approximately
6" long. There is some loss of plate, still a very charming

Brown and white transferware souvenir plate depicts the Lagoon
Looking South World's Fair. The 8.75" plate has no chips
or cracks. It is marked Porcelaine Opaque, Bridgwood & Son

Heavy metal ash tray with scrolled design features a picture
of the imposing Administration Building. The dish is 4.75"
square, the picture has a diameter of 3". There are no marks.
There is a ring on the back should you wish to hang it up. Unfortunately
the glass is cracked. The piece has its original patina and is

Small glass cup has an embossed image of Columbus landing
in the New World and an image of the Santa Maria. "World's
Fair 1893" is embossed on the bottom. No other marks. 2.75"
high, 2.5" diameter. Tiny flake on rim, scratches from the

moiré handkerchief holder is enhanced by decorative and

It contains a 18" x 19" silk hankie which is embroidered
"World's Fair Chicago 1893." Click to see detail of hankie
The case measures 9.5" wide x 6.25" high. There are
some stains on the front. The interior is very nice and the hankie

1893 Columbian Exposition Embroidered Silk Handkerchief. Embroidered
image of the Administration Building with an American flag and
"1893 World's Fair." Approximately 10.5" x 11.5"
The red embroidery thread has run. There are several small red

Blue and white transferware souvenir plate features the majestic
Machinery Hall. The plate is 8.25" in diameter. There are
five hairline cracks in the glaze on the back that do not detract
from the charm of this piece. It is marked Marx & Gutherz,
