Bronze medal from 1933 Century of Progress designed by Emil Robert Zetter. On the front there is an image of a strong, swift figure, symbol of energy and action and the wording "Industry" and "Research." The figure straddles a bridge uniting man's resources and his accomplishments. The reverse of the medal depicts a schematic plan of the fair along the banks of Lake Michigan. It reads "1933 - A Century of Progress International Exposition - Chicago." The medal was produced in three sizes. We are offering the middle size which has a 2.25" diameter. Excellent condition. 1933 World's Fair Waffler. Manual flower shaped waffler, distributed by the Sunbeam Specialty Co., Cleveland, Ohio, comes with the remains of its box and a recipe and directions for its use.
