1893 Columbian Exposition Plate. Gold rimmed plate
features The Electrical Building at the World's Exposition, Chicago
1893. It was manufactured by Wileman & Co. (The Foley China,
predecessor to Shellys Ltd.) which began production ca.1892. Stamped
in black "England, a crown and a W&C interlocked."

plate features two buildings at the World's Exposition, Chicago
1893; the Art Palace and the Government Building. Made by Wileman
& Co. (The Foley China), which began production ca.1892. Stamped
in black "England, a crown and a W&C interlocked"
and an impressed registry mark. 9.25" diameter. No cracks
or chips, light surface scratching.(Stock number 003wf1101a)
