A22 - Our Navy- Allen & Ginter Tobacco. Most souvenir albums of this type were probably intended to replace the individual tobacco cards if the smoker desired. They were purchased with 75 to 100 coupons packed with cigarettes. This album was not associated with any set of cards. The superb chromolithographs of american naval vessels were designed solely for this album and were printed by Schumacher and Ettlinger, NY whose file lithography was used in cigar box labels. Small chip lower right corner of back cover, otherwise in exceptionally nice condition.. (a22album) $750.00.
