Souvenir Albums of this type were probably intended to replace
the individual tobacco cards if the smoker desired. They were
purchased with 75 to 100 coupons packed with cigarettes. This
album was issued circa 1889 with the images of the card series
Yacht Colors of the World (Burdick 91). Gorgeous illustrated pages
show the card faces. Also included in this album are Fancy Dress
Ball Costumes (Burdick 73) and Musical Instruments (Burdick 82).
Also includes some full page beauties. Great chromolithography
by Schumacher & Ettinger NY. Far scarcer than the individual
cards. Crease at left near binding. Paper loss back cover. Interior
