Vol. 2 issued by Kinney Bros. Tobacco.. While at first,Souvenir
Albums of this type were probably intended to replace the individual
tobacco cards if the smoker desired. They proved so popular that
albums such as this were designed which did not relate to card
series. They were purchased with 75 to 100 coupons packed with
Sweet Caporal, Cleopatra, and New York Standard cigarettes. This
album was issued circa 1890 Beautiful Women. Subjects include
Metropolitan Opera House, New York - eMaterna, Grand Opera House
Paris- Adelina Patti, Milan - Nilsson, Singer (Turkey), Academy
of Musicm New York - Kellogg, St. Petersburg - Anna Louise Cary,
Berlin Opera House - Fursch Madi, Covent Garden London - Marie
Roze, Opera House Vienna - Gerster, Zuleika. All pages show damage
at ribbon holes. Front cover has corner chios. A few small stains
