Canadian "Aeroplane" Cigarette Cards by W. C. Macdonald
Inc. - Singles
Macdonald issued their aeroplane and warship series circa
1940 and included a card with each pack of British Consol cigarettes.
An airplane appears on the front of each of these cards with "Daily
Mail" in a red, white and blue banner. Three cards say "Try
"Skyways" a Mild Burley Pipe Tobacco" instead of
"Daily Mail." On the reverse is a playing card and an
offer for a full sized pack of playing cards in exchange for 2
sets of cigarette cards. Cards measure approx. 2 3/8" x 1
5/8". All cards are in Fine or better condition. (Stock
