1950's Novelty Cigarette Holder Store Displays
In the 1940's and 1950's most cigarettes were purchased at
the local candy store or luncheonette. Along with a large selection
of cigarettes available by the pack or carton were useful accessories.
Lighters and cigarette holders were the most common. Generally
displayed in a case or behind the counter they never seemed to
sell very quickly, or in fact, at all. This may explain why we
have been able to acquire two complete display cards of cigarette
holders both in excellent condition.
BE-BOP Pipe Novelty Cigarette Holders Display - A full
card of a dozen novelty cigarette holders for all cigarette smokers.
Green and white "pipes" 4.5" in length are displayed
on a cardboard holder 6.25" x 9.5". Excellent condition.
(Stock number 003Be-bop) SOLD
Extra Fine Cigarette Holders Display - A dozen amber
colored cigarette holders on a display card. Similar in color
and size to the ubiquitous cigar holder. Each of the holders measures
2.5" in length and are displayed on a cardboard holder 6.25"
x 9.25". Excellent condition. (Stock number 003cigholder)
