Circus Programs from Far and Near
Traditionally the Circus has moved from town to town with
performers and animals, setting up tents and grandstands, performing
a number of shows then packing up and moving on. Performers from
far flung lands could delight circus goers everywhere with their
agility, courage, daring, grace and skill without speaking a single
word. In spite of the encroachment of electronic entertainment,
the circus remains a grand spectacle. Though fewer in number than
40 years ago, the circus provides genuine thrills and chills in
live entertainment suitable for the entire family. Our selection
of circus souvenir programs graphically illustrates the unique
sophistication and artistic creativity of each circus. Most have
some color photos. The programs represent circuses from Europe,
Asia, Australia, and North America. Most are in excellent condition
