Davis Sewing Machine Catalog - 1892

The Davis Sewing Machine Company was founded in 1868 in Watertown N.Y. After expanding its factory in Watertown twice, it moved to a new plant in Dayton Ohio. This 24 page catalog has a chromolithographed cover by the well known lithographers Schumaher and Ettinger and illustrates their various models, the application of their special attachments and the advantages of their "Advance" head. Several pages of testimonials are included. Copyright 1892. 3 5/8" x 6 1/4". Some damage at the top center of the front cover has been repaired by archival tape on the reverse..
