Novelty Mule Cigarette Dispenser

and ashtray was produced by the Schwartzbaugh Manufacturing Company
of Toledo, Ohio during the 1920's. Matches were stored in the
pack on the mule's back and an indentation indicates the position
of the ashtray. To obtain a cigarette press the donkey's ears
and magically one would appear from under his tail. We have seen
this piece with different towns printed on the sign post behind
the mule. This one shows the directions to Powow River in Vermont
and Salmon Falls, Maine. The piece is 9" wide x 10"
tall x 4.5" deep. It is painted metal is reasonably good
condition. There is some paint loss, some dirt and a few rust
spots. (Stock number 003MuleCig) SOLD
