Duke's Cameo Cigarettes Advertising Folding Chair
We were so fortunate in being able to locate this classic
turn-of-the-20th century advertising folding chair. Always a rare
item, in recent years it has become virtually extinct. This Duke's
Cameo Cigarettes chair is unquestionably in flawed condition.
The original seat, which was almost certainly cane, has been replaced
with a pressed leather seat. The picture on the front of a mother
and daughter and the image of a woman in a bonnet on the back
are faded, peeling, have paper loss and signs that they have been
exposed to rain. However, the text "Duke's Cameo Cigarettes"
is sharp and easy to read. The chair has been covered with a coat
of varnish. The chair measures 31"h x 15" wide by 19"
deep. The paper images front measure 7" wide x 10" high.
In spite of everything it remains a very desirable piece for any
