Happy Hooligan Bisque Figure

Happy Hooligan Bisque Figure This is a wonderful find!
Happy Hooligan was created by Frederick Burr Opper in 1900. The
well-meaning but ill fated hobo Hooligan could always be recognized
by his tin can hat. As well as the newspaper strip the character
appeared in animated silent cartoons, a stage play and on sheet
music. The 8.5" figure still retains much of its red and
black original paint. Click to view bottom
There are no marks. He is lightly soiled and scuffed but still
a great piece for its age. $100.00 (Stock number 003HappyHooligan)
