In the early twentieth century, advances in technology made
their effects known on construction processes for residences and
businesses. The Ideal Concrete Machinery Co. of South Bend Indiana
developed machinery which manufactured concrete blocks on the
construction site. "A Peep At A Few Of The Things Accomplished
by Ideal Block Machines". This 44 page 11" x 8"
booklet illustrates many of the buildings produced across the
midwestern United States. Bound with a string. Light foxing of
