The Pennacook Hose Company Number 1 was organized April 7,
1858, and housed at the Vine Street station in Manchester New
Hampshire. It was a 12 member "Hose Company". These
were proud companies that would stretch lines while the steamers
were building pressure. 2 13/16 x 7 1/2"" Printed Silk
Ribbon. Likely to be 19th century. Some fraying and fading. As
you see it. Manchester's First Hose company. (Stock number 003Pennacook)
