Stevensgraph Bookmarks
A Stevensgraph is a small picture made of woven silk resembling
an elaborate ribbon. These were created by Thomas Stevens in England
in the later half of the 1800's. They are marked with his name
woven into the fabric. Other manufacturers later copied the form
and created their own bookmarks with their exclusive designs.

Home Sweet Home Music and lyrics to "Home Sweet
Home." "Mid pleasures and palaces, though we may roam,
be it ever so humble there's no place like home: a charm from
the skies seems to hallow us there, which seek through the world,
is ne'er met with elsewhere. Home: home, sweet, sweet home: there's
no place like home: there's no place like home." "An
exile from home, splendor dazzles in vain, Oh! give me my lowly
thatche'd cottage again! The birds singing gaily, that came at
my call: give me them with the peace of mind dearer than all.
Home: Home, sweet, sweet home: there's no place like home: there's
no place like home." Marked A. Chesters Manufacturer back

The Star Spangled Banner Music and lyrics to our national
anthem. "Oh! say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
what so proud-ly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming? Whose
broad stripes and bright stars thro' the pe-ril-ous fight, o'er
the ramparts we watch'd, were so gal-lant-ly streaming? And the
rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air, gave proof thro'
the night that our flag was still there. Oh! Say does that star-span-gled
ban-ner yet wave o'er the land of the free and the home of the
brave." No manufacturer marked. 10.25' long x 2.5" wide.
