French Victorian Glass Bird's Head Syrup or Wine Jug
Rarely does one encounter a truly marvelous piece of European
Victorian glass like this aqua colored bird's head syrup jug.
The glass body sports a bronze colored head with glass eyes and
bronze colored feet. The handle is applied. It is marked "Depose"
(Design registered in France). 5.5" wide by 8" high.
The right foot was broken off and reglued. Click for detail
There is some loss of patina on the metal sections. (Stock
