Child Sized Wooden Shoe Forms

There was a time, not so very long ago, that New England was the center of shoe manufacturing in the United States. Only a few artifacts of that industry remain. The manufacturing equipment is gone, the factories recycled for other use or standing empty but the wooden shoe molds have survived. As well as being attractive decorative accent pieces they each capture a small piece of our industrial history. We usually encounter shoe forms in adult sizes but were fortunate in finding a small group in children's sizes. They have wooden uppers and a metal sole. They range in size from approximately 5" to 6" and 1.5" to 2" tall. (Stock number 003ShoeForm) $15.00 each
