World War I Poster Stamps
Here is a small group of Poster Stamps issued with the
designs of War Posters..War Posters in both World Wars were
issued in sizes ranging from the single sheet to billboard sizes.
The designs and messages had strong appeal but the size kept many
from appreciating them in their own homes. Poster stamps were
issued to allow continued private appreciation of the artist's
work. Approx 1.5" x 2 .25". Four stamps (Stock Number
