Rockwell Kent, well known book illustrator and poster,
Christmas card and advertising designer, was hired by Vernon
Kilns in the late 1930s. Working out of his New York studio
he created over "Moby Dick". We offer a blue
and white transfer print plates from this series. Marked "Moby
Dick" designed by Rockwell Kent Vernon Kilns Made in U.S.A.
This is a 9.5" plate and in excellent condition except
for a small edge roughness at about 9 o'clock. With a maginifying
lass a small flake is visible.. (Stock number 005vk1025a) $75.00
