Allegorical Chalkware Stein

This glorious stein made of chalk features detailed carvings of men, women and possibly cherubs. A fierce cat's head forms the handle and grape vines climb over the cover. It is almost certainly an allegorical scene. It stands an imposing 14" tall and measures 7" in diameter at the base. The piece is done in shades of bronze toned brown with hints of green. There are no markings of any kind. It is remarkably fine condition with only a few minor nicks. (Stock number 002pt0925a) $250.00
