Geometric "X" in a Square Quilt

This pink, brown and grey quilt features a simple repeat of a bold "X" in a square. The diamond pattern hand quilting is consistent with the simple overall geometric pattern. The quiltmaker, a New Hampshire lady, made cut-outs on one end so that it would hang smootly as a bed spread. We believe that it dates back to the 1920s, possibly earlier. It is a 80" x 80". There is some wear and fraying on the brown pieces. Overall condition is very good. (Stock number 002t111b) $175.00
