Block Design Quilt

This Block Design Quilt is a simplified version of a log cabin pattern. The red check background sets off the large diamonds composed of a center square, triangles and rectangles. Some outline quilting in the diamonds. It was made in northern New Hampshire and even though the colors are still bright it shows signs that it has been used and laundered. There is some staining and wear evident. It probably dates to the 1920s. It measures 62" x 74". Condition is good. (Stock number 002t111c) $150.00
