1920 Eversweet Kewpie Style Composition Doll

Composition doll in the style of Rose O'Neill's Kewpie.
The Kewpie doll, created in 1913 by Rose O'Neill, was one of the
most popular dolls ever made. Other manufacturers at the time
jumped on the Kewpie bandwagon and created dolls in a similar
style. Our American made doll was produced by the Eversweet Company.
A paper label tells us that this was a patented design dated June
29, '20. Click to see label
This all composition doll stands 12" tall. It is in "as
found" condition" which includes a crack on the top
of the head, soiling, some flaking and small patches of gunk.
